Internetworking

From the end of '95 to the end of '98 I have been building up and maintaining the technical part of the internet services provider SPIN. It's been a very interesting area of work, which allowed me to gain a lot of knowhow and experience. You can find details about this in the curriculum vitae.

Linux or Unix based development

Allthough having experience in developing software on various platforms such as Windows, Macintosh etc. I have really got to like the Linux platform. Some of the many reasons for this are: dynamic and fast evolution of the platform, stability of operation, good support through the linux community, openess of the platform, availability of all sources, the involved culture and last but not least the enormous number of features and possibilities offered. I gladly accept oportunities to participate in development taking place on this platform, especially in areas as: networking, design of solutions on top of linux, integration of linux into special purpose equipment, implementation of distributed or high availibility systems etc...

Software engineering and research

At the beginning of my professional life was software engineering. I was able to work on interesting projects that consisted in researching, analysing and implementing complex algorithms.

I'm ready to accept interesting and innovative software engineering tasks.

Artistic expression on computers

Art has accompanied me through my whole life. Often it is not immediately related to computers but sometimes finds its expression in the composition of an image or a page. I'd be happy to take any oportunity to combine computers and art.
