Number of tapes

This number specifies, how many cartridges you are maintaining. You need to have at least number of filespecs + number of filespecs with incremental backups configured tapes, if a full backup doesn't fit on one tape, the additional tapes have to be added to this figure. Don't enter an arbitrary high number, since afbackup will want write to all of them once, before reusing the first one.
